UNIT :  I & II

Casting division of the simplex group of industries has two units consisting of melting facilities, moulding facilities and the machine division to manufacture and cast quality heavy products with all related testing facilities.

FOUNDRY SERVICES:
Casting unit: I

  • Heavy grey iron, S.G. iron & Hi chrome castings

  • Capacity 28000T/annum

  • Range upto 30T single piece

  

 

Casting unit II (ISO 9002) :

  • Steel castings & forging ingots division

  • Capacity 18000T/annum

  • Range upto    

      • 14T single piece engineering steel casting
      7T single piece S.G. iron casting
      16T single piece Ingots in carbon steel, alloy steel & stainless steel
      25T slag pots for steel mills

FOUNDRY SERVICES:

  • Moulding: 

      • - Fully self setting sand moulding
      - Continuous sand mixers
      - Semi automatic fast loop mouldings
      - Manual moulding for large castings

  • Melting : 

      • - Electric Arc furnace, Induction furnace supplemented with V.D. & V.O.D for secondary refining of metal.

FOUNDRY SERVICES :
Casting units I & II

  • Fetling facility

      • - Elaborate  felting facility with slot blasting for clean surface

  • N.D.T. : 

      • - All testing facilities, link radiography and ultrasonic testing available with qualified N.D.T. personnel
